Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress who mostly appears in Hindi films. The actress has won three Filmfare Awards have been given to her, making her one of India's top popular and well-paid actors. Time Magazine named Padukone one of the 100 most influential individuals with influence around the world of 2018. The magazine also presented her with The TIME100 Impact Award 2022. Padukone is the daughter of the famous badminton player Prakash Padukone. She was born in Bangalore and was born in Copenhagen. She competed in national badminton championships when she was a teenager, but gave up the sport in order to be a model. She soon received offers for films and began her acting career in 2006 with the title character of her debut film Kannada film Aishwarya. Padukone also played a two-part role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in her first Bollywood release, a romance Om Shanti Om (2007), which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female debut. Padukone was recognized for her performance as the lead actress in Love Aaj Kal, but she suffered a brief setback.
